In 2008, Phyllis was the featured solo musician in the six-week run of the Off-Broadway production, Coraline. The play is based on Neil Gaiman‘s best-selling novel and adapted by American playwright David Greenspan.  All music was written by Stephin Merritt (from the Magnetic Fields ) for toy piano, prepared piano and other odd sound-making devices.
